What if my learning institution is not listed on the XS UNI website?

If your institution is not listed on our drop down selection box please contact XS UNI immediately via support@xsuni.com.au or phone 1300XSBAGS so we can contact your administration and have it added.


What if I want you to pick up from my house or business and not my learning institution?

XS UNI pricing is structured to allow for a central pick up location for each facility. If you specifically require a pick up from your home or office you will have to obtain a quote via our retail website at www.xsbagsandboxes.com.au


How does XS Pricing compare to other providers?

XS UNI provides you with an all up instant on line quote based on the weights and dimensions you enter. The only cost we do not allow for is destination duties and taxes on your shipment as this varies from country to country and depends on the commodity and declared value of your shipment.

Unlike our express solution at XS UNI don't get caught out by other suppliers offering a cheap per kilogram price up front! Beware of hidden charges that may not become evident until your shipment has left the country and by this time it is too late for you to do anything. You may not have your shipment delivered until all charges are paid. Some of these ancillary charges could be:

How do I pay?

You can pay online via the XS UNI website when placing your order or you can choose to pay over the phone. We accept payment via Visa or Mastercard or AMEX.

Does XS UNI send globally?

Yes! We send to over 225 countries. So what are you waiting for? Get the elephant on the case.


Do I have to pick my shipment up from the airport?

No! We provide you with a door-to-door price (excluding duties and taxes if applicable) and we give you a door-to-door service. Many other providers will make you go to the destination airport to pick up your shipment, or they will charge you an extra fee to have your shipment delivered from the airport to your home! So if you don't want the extra hassle and spend the extra cash you better get the elephant on the case.


Is it a Door-to-Door service?

In majority of destinations we do provide a door to door service, hence the reason for a door-to-door price. In some instances (such as sending personal effects to Canada) you may have to collect your items from the airport as per local government regulations. If you are concerned about whether your shipment can actually be delivered to your destination address, simply email support@xsuni.com.au and we will clarify this for you.


How long will it take for my baggage to reach its destination?

XS UNI utilise the DHL Express Courier network. Click here to view the general transit times for the different regions of the world.

Are there extra charges at the destination?

Destination customs or duties charges may apply to your shipment depending on the declared value of your goods. This will vary from country to country and also depend on the commodity you are shipping. There may also be a destination remote area fee if the delivery address is outside the standard DHL delivery area. This fee is $25 if applicable. If you are unsure whether your destination will attract this fee please email support@xsuni.com.au with the destination address.

How should my items be packed?

You should use strong durable packaging. Remember, your goods are not just going down the street! They are travelling to another country and you don't want them to arrive damaged. Please ensure:

What items cannot be sent via XS Bags and Boxes?

How should I label my bags?

All bags or boxes should be labelled clearly in English with the air waybill visible. Please ensure you provide a contact name and phone number for the receiver. Once you place your order online you can print the relevant paperwork to adhere to your shipment.


Should I provide a packing list?

Yes, you must provide a detailed packing list. XS UNI can email you a blank packing list for you to complete and attach to your paperwork for transit with your goods. Please be sure to list the individual value against each item on the packing list. This will be used for customs purposes and could assist in a speedier clearance at your country of destination. Once you have completed your packing list don't waste any time, get the elephant on the case.


What if my shipment weighs more than what I thought?

XS UNI will know within 24hrs of your shipment being picked up as to the chargeable weight. If your shipment weighs more than what you have paid for we will contact you and inform you of the difference and the extra cost owing. Likewise, if the shipment is less than you paid for we will credit this difference back to you. So, if you know the weight of your shipment and you don't want to spend more money than you have to get the elephant on the case.


What is the heaviest each bag or box can be?

While there is no maximum weight, we don't want our couriers breaking their backs trying to pick up your shipment. Please notify us if you have individual items exceeding 30kg in weight so we can make suitable arrangements to have these items picked up. Does XS UNI provide insurance for your Express Courier Solution?

Yes! On top of the standard XS UNI liability, we provide insurance services that offer our customers financial protection against all risks of physical loss or damage from any external cause up to AUD$20,000 per Shipment. If your shipment value exceeds this please contact XS UNI at support@xsuni.com.au or 1300XSBAGS so we can arrange the extra cover.


Can I track my bags and boxes?

Yes, simply email support@xsuni.com.au with your air waybill number and we will give you an update on the exact location of your shipment.

Do I pay GST on international shipments?

No, you do not pay GST on your outbound international shipments. If you are sending shipment via XS UNI from another country into Australia the shipment will attract GST.
